The MetroTex Association of REALTORS® today released Coppell homes sales figures for the month of May. MetroTex President Steve Habgood announced Coppell’s near-record volume of sales.

“The market in Coppell on is extremely active,” said Habgood. “While overall the number of available homes is low on any given day, homes that do appear on market tend to sell very quickly. There were 56 homes sold and 49 pending sales in Coppell last month.“

“We definitely recommend consumers develop a good relationship with their REALTOR® to help them navigate such an active market like Coppell is experiencing,” said Habgood.

Other highlights include of the MetroTex report include:

• The average sales price in Coppell is $413,955, a 6% increase over last year.
• Average sales price is 99% of list price when listed with a REALTOR®
• The number of available homes on the market in May 2015 was 103, compared to 104 in May 2014.
• The average price per square foot in Coppell increased from $140 in May 2014 to $151 in May 2015.

“We predict Coppell will continue to be part of one of the most active markets in the country,” said Habgood. “In Coppell, homes listed with REALTORS® are selling in 34 days on average.
