A constellation of concertos to celebrate Earth Day: Antonio Vivaldi and his influencers.

DALLAS - Crafted from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, this high-octane concerto immersion highlights
the virtuosity of seven members of the ensemble. The Mandolin Concerto features guitarist Hector
Torres. Cellists Christopher Phillpott and Sydney ZumMallen join forces in the Concerto for Two
Cellos. The Concerto for Four Violins and Cello rounds out the nearly all-Vivaldi program.

“It’s exciting to have the talent within the ensemble to create this singular experience”, said Assistant
Director and harpsichordist Molly Hammond. “Specific movements from The Four Seasons provide
the framework for the addition of other audience-friendly pieces. There’s even a jazz standard with a
striking connection to one of the Seasons.”

Works by peer composers Alessandro Scarlatti and Arcangelo Corelli reveal their influence and
charm.
