My name is Pratiksha Rigley and my husband Noel and I are the proud owners for Primrose School of Frisco West, Park Cities, Prestonwood, and Plano at Preston Meadow. I am eager for you to learn more about our Balanced Learning Approach when you visit our school.

Our Primrose journey began when our oldest daughter Maya was born. After Maya’s arrival we started looking for childcare and toured 8 different facilities. The Primrose near our home was without a doubt my first choice. Maya started school at Primrose in the infant room and is now studying at UT Austin. Four years later we were blessed with our second daughter, Meira. We immediately enrolled her at Primrose. Like most parents, I wished there were a way to spend more time with my girls. I had a crazy thought: what if I owned a Primrose, and my girls could go to school with me? The seed was planted in my mind and the thought took roots.

Fast forward 6 years later and we had opened our very first school in November 2008. At primrose I am able to follow my passion, which is a commitment to superior service and early childhood education. I am very blessed to be able to do what I love.

I grew up in Zambia, Central Africa. Education is a true luxury. I was fortunate enough to come to the U.S. and go to Pharmacy School. I know that without the educational opportunities I received including my love for learning, I would not be living my American Dream.

I started my pharmacy career as a pharmacist in the retail industry. I was promoted to District Pharmacy Manager for a major chain. I managed up to 34 stores at a time and loved the operations side of the business. That’s probably because I need to be in charge. :-)

As we have grown to multiple locations, I have had to give up some control which, for me, was not an easy task. I am involved in every aspect of my schools - menu, marketing, staff hiring and training and, most importantly, the welfare of the children in our care. In order to continue the attention to detail I require from myself and my leadership teams, I have my Area Director, Jamie Hatton (Maddox) who helps me with day to day operations.

My goal is that our school is a home away from home for our families.
