From the check-in table to the stage, this familiar Sammons Center face has a voice to go with her, too. Current SCA staff member, Kara Walton, shows off a different collection of talents in her place of work with her first full cabaret show, “Reused, Renewed, and Rearranged.” This graduate of the University of North Texas Jazz program and Downbeat Magazine Student Music Award Winner for Jazz Arranging does what she does best – bringing new life to familiar tunes.
Sammons Cabaret begins at 8 p.m. in Kurth Hall; doors open at 7:30 p.m. Admission includes light refreshments, beverages, and valet parking. All artists and programs subject to change.
