Sammons Jazz Artistic Director and Steinway Artist Arlington Jones presents a “fathers & sons show” spotlighting the legacy of fathers and sons in music. This show features fathers with their sons, Arlington Jones on piano, Arlington “Ollie” Jones III on drums, James Driscoll on bass, and special guests: saxophonist Tom Braxton with sons Ian & Julian Braxton on saxophones, Mark & Stephen Harper on guitars, Eric Willis on piano, and Josh Willis on drums.

The second set continues the legacy theme with Arlington Jones & The Brethren playing music from Arlington’s recorded catalog revealing the history of his life. It features James Driscoll on bass, Arlington “Ollie” Jones III on drums, and Jorge Ginorio on percussion.

Sammons Jazz concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in Meadows Hall; doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person or $45 for Sammons members. Admission includes complimentary valet parking, and beverages. All artists and programs subject to change.
