The MetroTex Association of REALTORS® today released Carrollton-Farmers Branch homes sales figures for the month of May. MetroTex President Steve Habgood announced Carrollton-Farmers Branch’s near- record volume of sales.

“The market in Carrollton-Farmers Branch on is extremely active,” said Habgood. “While overall the number of available homes is low on any given day, homes that do appear on market tend to sell very quickly. There were 171 Sales and 119 pending sales in Carrollton-Farmers Branch last month.“

“We definitely recommend consumers develop a good relationship with their REALTOR® to help them navigate such an active market like Carrollton-Farmers Branch is experiencing,” said Habgood.

Other highlights include of the MetroTex report include:

• The average sales price in Carrollton-Farmers Branch is $265,810, only slightly higher than this time last year.
• Average sales price is 100% of list price when listed with a REALTOR®
• The number of available homes on the market in May 2015 was 188, compared to 257 in May 2014.
• The average price per square foot in Carrollton-Farmers Branch increased from $109 in May 2014 to $115 in May 2015. 

“We predict Carrollton-Farmers Branch will continue to be part of one of the most active markets in the country,” said Habgood. “In Carrollton-Farmers Branch, homes listed with REALTORS® are selling in 18 days on average.
