Giselle Phelps is a broadcast journalist & media professional living in Dallas, Texas. She is the owner of GJP Media Services LLC. It provides public relations, media training and video production services to a range of clients. Prior to starting GJP Media Services, Giselle was a general assignment reporter for KDAF-TV, the CW affiliate in Dallas. Her reports were featured Monday through Friday at 5 p.m. & 9 p.m. Giselle honed her reporting skills in Upstate New York. She was an anchor/ reporter for the 24-hour news station YNN Buffalo. She also spent two years as reporter/videojournalist for News 10 Now in Syracuse, NY. Giselle has also worked as a producer for Fox on an national Daytime Emmy winning show. Giselle was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in St. Catharines, ON. She graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a B.A. in Journalism. She also studied at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Giselle started her career in Toronto, as an associate producer for CTV's business channel BNN. Her first media job was for an urban radio station called Flow 93.5 in Toronto. Giselle is a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Association of Black Journalists & National Association of Black Journalists. Giselle is a regular public speaker, emcee & host for non-profits, colleges and youth organizations.
