Being the first of its kind in the Dallas area, DHDF strives to showcase the positive aspects of the hip-hop culture by highlighting its legacy as an agent of artistic progression. The Convention is a day full of workshops from top dance industry professionals from all over the country. These choreographers have worked with all of the top names in entertainment, and are also behind many of the viral dance videos on social media. The Battle is a true old school style hip-hop dance battle, with a live DJ and judges. The Show is live entertainment for the entire family. Professional and performance dance teams from across the United States will meet at the Majestic Theater.
