About
Since 1989, The Dallas Yoga Center has been a yoga and integrative wellness center dedicated to nourishing the body, mind, and spirit. Through its mission to create conscious community and provide the highest quality yoga instruction, DYC has inspired people of all ages and backgrounds to live more mindful, healthier lives.

Dallas yogi and certified Iyengar instructor Fred Dowd founded DYC as a place for in-depth exploration of yoga beyond any particular style. David Sunshine took over DYC as owner and director in 1998 and expanded the Dallas Yoga Center from the initial single studio into the vast four studio yoga and wellness center that it is today. Under David's direction, DYC has become a nationally respected leader in yoga and holistic living providing over 70 diverse classes per week, workshops and retreats for those seeking real change and personal growth.

In 2010, the Dallas Yoga Center opened its doors to an adjoining 4,000 sq, ft Holistic Wellness Center offering a full spectrum of integrative medicine and healing arts. The variety and quality of these services combined with an impressive schedule of regional and international instructors makes the Dallas Yoga Center North Texas' most trusted source for yoga and wellness
