AVANCE-North Texas is an outstanding non-profit organization that has been actively engaged with the Latino community since 1996. Having served more than 33,000 families during the last 21 years, this organization has changed the course of thousands of lives by boosting their education and economic levels through an effective Parent-Child Education Program. This program is an inter-generational model where at-risk and undeserved students’ parents are given the tools and skills to become their child’s first and best teacher from cradle to carrier and at the same time their children receive the necessary instruction for a strong school start.
