The Halloween Hoedown is an annual event in Dallas, TX that benefits Texas Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital. It was founded in 2012 by a student of the Episcopal School of Dallas, Rankin Hobbs. Having gone above and beyond the monetary goal of one thousand dollars in 2012 with the rewarding sum of over three thousand, five hundred dollars, the Halloween Hoedown charity carnival board and volunteers hope to exceed their earnings by seven hundred dollars. The carnival will be held on Saturday, October 12th from 2-5 p.m. at Preston Hollow Park. With games, prizes, and treats, the Halloween Hoedown is a perfect way to spend your afternoon with children of all ages while benefiting a worthy cause. This October 12, with the help of a small board, family, friends, and wonderful volunteers, the Halloween Hoedown will be the place to be.
