Fort Worth Planned Parenthood’s annual event happens this year with a much anticipated new format. An Evening with Planned Parenthood will take place on Thursday evening, March 31st at Bass Performance Hall, featuring a conversation with Jennifer Palmieri moderated by Gloria Campos. Co-chairs for the event are Jill Black and Hilary Weinstein.
Jennifer Palmieri is one of the most accomplished communications advisors in politics today. Author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Dear Madam President and her newest book, She Proclaims: Our Declaration of Independence from a Man's World, Jennifer was White House Communications Director for President Obama and head of Communications for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. On the frontlines of American politics for 20 years, Jennifer is one of a few people with hands-on, working knowledge of the complex media environment operating in the U.S. today. She is also a guest host of Showtime's The Circus and a contributing editor to Vanity Fair.
Since retiring from a 40-year career in television news in 2014, award-winning journalist, Gloria Campos continues to pursue interests and causes that have always been important to her. Gloria has been honored to moderate discussions with notables such as former First Lady Laura Bush, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former U.S. Senator, Kay Bailey Hutchison, and now First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, broadcaster Robin Roberts, and feminist Gloria Steinem among others.
