VIPKid, a global education technology company, is celebrating the opening of its Dallas office today. Named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies and a Glassdoor Best Place to Work, VIPKid connects 60,000 teachers in North America with more than 500,000 students in China and 63 other countries for realtime 1-on-1 English language immersion. Texas is home to over 7,000 VIPKid teachers, who enjoy the flexibility and boost in income from teaching on the VIPKid platform from their own home.
The Dallas office is led by a Teach for America alumna, Kevyn Klein, who serves as VIPKid's Head of Community. With a small but growing local team, Kevyn is focused on supporting and building the VIPKid teacher community. In August, VIPKid organized a teacher gathering at the George W. Bush Presidential Library for more than 300 local VIPKid teachers. Former First Lady Mrs. Laura Bush with VIPKid Founder and CEO Cindy Mi addressed the teachers sharing inspiring talks on the value of education for children across the world.
