Uptown Resident John Berkely named Executive Director for Grace Presbyterian Village.

Presbyterian Communities and Services, a faith-based nonprofit organization comprised of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and leading hospice services, has named three new senior-level employees to its upper management team. Godwin Dixon, chief executive officer for Presbyterian Communities and Services, made the recent announcement.

John Berkely was appointed as Executive Director at Grace Presbyterian Village. Berkely has a 19 year management career rapidly advancing through a level of leadership positions in senior living communities. His last position was as Senior Vice President for Senior Services where he supervised the management of four senior living communities. Due to his commitment to quality and his vast business knowledge, Berkely was able to greatly increase the occupancy of three senior living communities. He has now inherited a 5-star campus recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top senior living communities in the country. Berkely holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration from Pennsylvania State University in Youngstown, Ohio and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He is a Texas Certified Assisted Living Manager, a Certified Administrator in Training Preceptor in Texas and serves on the LeadingAge Public Policy Committee.
