The McKinney Avenue Contemporary will soon be hosting the first Uptown Trolley Stop Market of the fall and it's a chance for treasure hunters to strike it rich. The event is Gems & Junk and artists will be selling handcrafted works, gently used items and other random oddities during the open-air market.

The event will give residents and any interested parties the opportunity to meet with local artists, as well as finding some treasure among another man's trash. There will be cold beer, lemonade and plenty to see and barter for. Don't miss this opportunity.
