North Dallas couldn't get anything going in its season opener against Fort Worth Carter-Riverside and the score showed, with Carter-Riverside winning a lopsided 20-0 victory.
Carter-Riverside scored with big plays that took the wind out of the North Dallas. A 48-yard touchdown run and a 39-yard touchdown pass gave Carter all the momentum. The defense sealed the win with a 28-yard touchdown return against quarterback Jesse Garcia. Garcia only managed two completions the entire game.
