Looking for a superb bar to enjoy the Super Bowl?  For the perfect sports bar you need lots of unimpaired video and tasty food to go with!  Uptown has a number of bars that fit this description. 

One of the best traditional bars is Christie's Sports Bar & Grill.  The facility will bring you back to your college days!  There's tournament pool tables and a fantastic arcade for your enjoyment prior to the game or after.  Most importantly there's 43 televisions, 39 flat screens, and 4 ten foot screens strategically located throughout as well as on the patio. 

The Katy Trail Ice House is a totally different kind of a facility.  It's very spacious with a oversize courtyard that is adjacent to The Katy Trail.  It the weather cooperates the courtyard will be every bit as popular as the inside bar area.  You'll find lots of televisions with some unique appetizers such as Loaded Cheese Fries and Jalapeno Bottle Caps.  The 50 foot long bar boasts 50 beers on tap ranging from Texas Domestics to Regional and International Imports on the draw. 

The Rustic is also a large facility with a courtyard that's sizable and comfortable.  If the weather works out there will be bars open outside too.  Their bartenders pour the most prolific collection of Texas beverages around.  They have 40 beers on tap, 30 of which are Texas craft beers, and a collection of local spirits and wines.  The menu is exceptional with appetizers such as Duck Wings, Wild Boar Meatballs and Calf Fries with Buttermilk Dip.  Entrees include Texas Quail and Beer Can Chicken along with delicious sandwiches and salads. 

Almost any Uptown Bar & Grill will accommodate Super Bowl fans in style but these are three of my favorites.  Get there early!
