15th Annual Young Friends Party Benefits Ronald McDonald House of Dallas With Friends for Fifteen

Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD) hosted its 15th annual Young Friends Party - Friends for Fifteen at The Venue at 400 North Ervay. This year’s event was chaired by Mary Gall and Courtney Klingman at The Venue at 400 North Ervay, a historic building once used as a downtown post office and courthouse. The evening featured delectable bites from Food Glorious Food, a silent auction, and DJ Souljah spinning against twinkly lights and a stunning Dallas night sky.

All proceeds from the annual Young Friends Party directly fund operational expenses for RMHD, which hosts 1,200 families each year while their children are receiving treatment for illnesses or injuries at Dallas hospitals. As a home-away-from-home, the House serves a critical need for families who stay there, all of whom come from distances greater than 40 miles away from Dallas. Over RMHD’s 37-year history, it has hosted more than 38,000. Although RMHD asks guest families to contribute only $15 per night, no family is ever turned away for an inability to pay.
