The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library in downtown Dallas and the Oak Lawn branch of the Dallas Public Library System will close for both Christmas Day and New Years Day in observance of the holidays.

Some system branches will close early at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. All libraries will resume normal hours on Jan. 2.
