A Night to Wine and Dine, and Celebrate People of All Abilities

Ability Connection, a Dallas charitable non-profit which serves children and adults with disabilities, is set to host its annual Vine and Dine gala sponsored by Neiman Marcus on November 16th, at the Zodiac Room. For their work, this year’s gala will honor the esteemed Jack and Meredith Woodworth.

Daily, Ability Connection serves more than 800 individuals with special needs across the state of Texas, and the annual Vine and Dine gala has been an essential part of bringing services to Texas’ most vulnerable population among society. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy wine by Coquerel and an unparalleled menu prepared by a Neiman Marcus chef as they bid on remarkable items in a silent and live auction. From decadent vacation getaways to fine handbags, shoes and jewelry sponsored by Neiman Marcus, the items available for bidding are truly exceptional.

Although the auction items are sure to dazzle, the most unique feature of the Vine and Dine gala is the fact that Ability Connection is celebrating individuals of all abilities.  Troy Greisen, President and CEO, is always an advocate for those with disabilities served by Ability Connection, “This segment of our population has been neglected, forgotten, and turned away, even abused and with great discrimination and prejudice, throughout world history. Still today, they are often unnoticed, uncared for, and many of them remain our society’s most vulnerable and with the greatest needs.”

“Vine and Dine” is surely a night that cannot be missed, to purchase tables or seats please contact development@abilityconnection.org.
