The Rev. Dr. Jo Hudson, Senior Pastor of Cathedral of Hope (UCC) in Dallas, and Yadi Martinez, Minister for Mission and Youth at the church, recently presented a $2,000 check to Zach Bartush, Volunteer and Special Projects Coordinator, and Judy Wright, Vice President – External Affairs, of Promise House, a Dallas shelter for homeless, runaway and at-risk teens, giving them needed support, encouragement and hope to live a better life.

Youth participants in Cathedral of Hope’s Youth Ministry chose Promise House as the recipient of the funds, raised from a special soup-supper fundraiser, called “Souper Bowl of Caring,” on February 3 at Cathedral of Hope.
