Hi, I’m Wheels, a Boston Terrier. You may already know me because I am a special contributor to BubbleLife.com. I want to invite all my furred and feathered friends to the annual Blessing of the Animals at Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

We will gather in the dog park at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, Oct. 5. Central is located at 4711 Westside Drive, and the dog park is just behind the church. There is plenty of parking.

At Central Christian Church, ALL are welcome to Sunday worship services. In keeping with that tradition, all are welcome to attend the Blessing of the Animals. For everyone’s safety and protection, canines (like me) must be on a standard, 4-foot leash, and all you other critters must be in crates or carriers. If you can’t come, ask your owner or a friend to bring along your picture, and you will still be blessed.

It’s a special day — a day to give thanks for those of us who bring such joy to our homes and families. It’s also a day of fun, and there will be goodies for all! I’ll see you in the dog park. Until then — my wish for you? A sweet, happy life.

Wheels is a 5-year-old Boston terrier from Grant’s Pass, Oregon. He trained and worked hard with his owner to achieve his AKC championship in conformation. His registered name is Ch. Sunglo’s Cruisin’ in a Tuxedo.
