Crescent Property Services LLC and Lively Local Markets announce a dog festival and artisan market at McKinney & Olive to continue its initiative to enhance Uptown’s growing, pedestrian-friendly environment. The Sip & Drool Dog Festival and Spring Market at McKinney & Olive is a free event open to the public located at the outdoor piazza along Olive Street. The piazza will transform into a doggie wonderland on Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to celebrate dog parents and their faithful pups.

The Sip & Drool Dog Festival and Spring Market will support The Saving Hope Animal Rescue with a pet adoption and other fundraising options at the event. The Saving Hope Animal Rescue strives to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, and abused domestic animals.

McKinney & Olive will host a plethora of complimentary services for pets and complimentary cocktails for pet parents while they last. Pamper your pet with a mini pet spa treatment from The Pet Stylist, a professional pet styling, daycare, and boarding service in Dallas.

Melt away your dog's aches, pain, or stress with a mini-massage! Tamarah Wild Canine Reiki and Massage, one of Dallas's most revered canine holistic therapists, will provide free mini dog massages and address dogs’ silent pain, explaining how to identify it and how to help relieve it.

Your dog will have a blast working its way through the Zoom Room obstacle course on the piazza. The Zoom Room indoor dog training gym offers small group agility, obedience, puppy, and socialization classes. The Pet Treat Truck will roll in with everything your pet desires. And don’t miss your chance to place your artistic mark on our community painting with artist BWare. BWare will encourage event attendees to help create a beautiful pet-inspired piece of art that will unfold throughout the event. There will be a bone bar with dog beer and treats, games, doggie bags, giveaways, and more! This free tail-wagging event will be a “pawty” you don’t want to miss!

The artisan market managed by Lively Local Markets will feature over 15 curated local artisans and makers, excellent food and drinks from McKinney & Olive’s onsite restaurants, live music, photo ops, lawn games, and plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the day. The market will feature pet items, handmade jewelry, accessories, home goods, visual art, candles, soaps, cutting boards, baked goods, and much more. The event is open to all ages but will cater primarily to 21+ patrons. Parking is available at the McKinney & Olive garage located off Olive Street for $5 or free with any onsite restaurant validation.

The Sip & Drool Dog Festival and Spring Market is the latest initiative to open up the landmark building, designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, as a gathering space for the vibrant and growing Uptown community. Located on a 3.1-acre site at McKinney Avenue and Olive Street, McKinney & Olive is juxtaposed amid the grandeur of the neighboring Ritz-Carlton and The Crescent® and just blocks from the Dallas Arts District and Klyde Warren Park.

One of the most notable and unique offerings at McKinney & Olive is the beautiful one-acre piazza designed and landscaped by landscape architect, The Office of James Burnett, who also designed Klyde Warren Park. The piazza is a stunning, open outdoor space accented with umbrella-covered tables, a water feature, a fire pit with lounge seating, lawn games, and valet parking for office and retail visitors, all framed with mature shade trees. McKinney & Olive offers 50,000 square feet of ground-level retail and dining, featuring Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Doc B's Restaurant + Bar, Starbucks Reserve, Roti Modern Mediterranean, MIXT, CycleBar, and Drybar. Mexican Sugar and Leela’s Wine are scheduled to open this summer.

McKinney & Olive hosts music and fitness events on the piazza throughout the year for customers in the building and the public to enjoy and provide entertainment for its neighbors in Uptown.
