Can you believe we are three short weeks away from Thanksgiving! NETWORK volunteers are busy making annual Holiday Baskets for our senior (60+ yrs old) clients. NETWORK serves an aging population that are often times by themselves on Thanksgiving day. The Holiday Baskets will be distributed on Saturday, November 15 to the homes of clients, and filled with food items to ensure a perfect Thanksgiving meal, and some extra goodies, like personal hygiene products, bath robes, slippers, hand towels, etc.

How can you help? We have a few ways!

1. Help provide product to fill the baskets. We are collecting the following:

FOOD: TURKEYS, non-perishable can items (corn, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, French's Onion Toppers), etc.

PERSONAL HYGIENE: shampoo, soap, conditioner, baby wipes, klennex, etc.

EXTRAS: towels, kitchen hand towels, kitchen cooking utensils, bathrobe, slippers, blankets

2. VOLUNTEER! We are still in need of volunteers to help take the baskets to our clients on Saturday, November 15 from 9am to Noon.

If you would like more information, or to get plugged in, please call 972-234-8880 ext 125. You can email rconoley@thenetwork.org

Thank you for your help and we look forward to delivering over 125 baskets this Thanksgiving!!
