Corbet Design + Build, a boutique design build firm based in Dallas, Texas, has partnered with Hendrick, Beck, Brown, Cassels and Bedford to construct Hendrick Volkswagen Frisco. The new dealership, located at 5010 State Highway 121 in Frisco, Texas, will feature approximately 60,000 square feet and encompass 14 acres, making it the largest freestanding Volkswagen dealership in the United States.
The state-of-the-art dealership will incorporate the latest design, efficiency and sustainability features that Volkswagen is known for. In keeping with the standard Volkswagen “white frame design,” the dealership is two stories and will include 31 service bays. Corbet Design + Build’s team integrated the Volkswagen corporate look with the required image standards of the City of Frisco, which includes beautiful tile, stucco and stone. Specifically, Corbet Design + Build worked creatively and found a white stone to successfully fuse the Volkswagen brand with the City of Frisco requirements.
Corbet Design + Build was hired to manage the process from start to finish and bring the facility to reality by handling the design, permitting, budgeting, construction and commissioning processes. Hendrick Volkswagen Frisco is scheduled to open this winter.
