For the month of October, Studio 6 Fitness, the largest Lagree studio in Texas, has switched to pink and teamed up with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), an organization dedicated to preventing and finding a cure for breast cancer.

In conjunction with BCRF and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Studio 6’s newest location at The Shops at Park Lane (8180 Park Lane, Suite 343, Dallas, TX 75231) will offer FREE pilates, barre and yoga classes all weekend, October 17 to 19, to bring awareness to the cause. A recent USA Today article covered research, which indicates that combining weight control with physical activity has proven to reduce the risk of breast cancer by up to 25%.* Last month, Studio 6 opened this second location on the second floor by Whole Foods and next door to Carter’s.

Elizabeth Lindberg, Studio 6 founder, owner and trainer, said, “We want to support those who have breast cancer, like our clients, Allison Exall, Debbie Low, Anne O’Connor and Karen Puckett. These ladies inspire us every day. We encourage everyone to work out and join together to find a cure and raise awareness.”

In addition, Studio 6 is offering 20% off all pink retail items at both locations.

Those interested in signing up for a free class can visit http://www.studio6fitness.com/.

Studio 6’s signature pilates workouts combines cardio and strength training with pilates and are based on the revolutionary Lagree Fitness Method, which redefined efficient exercise using the Megaformer.

Studio 6 has two locations in Dallas. In addition to The Shops at Park Lane studio, the other studio is at 11909 Preston Road, Suite 1412, Dallas, Texas 75230, the northwest corner of Preston and Forest. For more information on classes and times, call (972) 239-2626, visit www.studio6fitness.com or download the Studio 6 app compatible with both iPhone and Android.
