Every game that North Dallas (1-3) has played in this season has involved a shutout. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they've only been on the correct side of a shutout once so far. The team will look to reverse the trend when they play Carter High School (0-4) on Friday, September 30.

The Bulldogs will need all their offensive skill players to step up and contribute more if the team wants to avoid getting shutout for a fourth time.Quarterback Jesse Garcia has only completed 15 passes all season for 136 yards and two touchdowns. The running game has also been lacking, as North Dallas has only one rusher with over 100 yards. Running back Jeremiah Gantt has 238 yards and two touchdowns so far on the season.

Carter could be just the school that North Dallas needs to play to snap out of their funk. The Cowboys are winless so far this season and were shut out in their last game against South Oak Cliff. Similar to North Dallas, Carter's skill players have yet to step up and really contribute. Quarterback Kenneth Spencer could be trouble for the Bulldogs' defense though; he's thrown for 233 yards and two touchdowns on the season. Running back Jordan Griffin is the Cowboys' main threat on the ground. He has 160 yards and no touchdowns so far this year.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at John E. Kincaide Stadium.
