For dog lovers there's an organization that assists greyhounds, primarily those that are retired from or affiliated with the racing industry.  It's not in the news on a daily basis but there's a group of volunteers that take their greyhound responsibilities seriously.   Greyhounds are exquisite canines and deserve a good home post their racing career.  The GALT (Greyhound Adoption League of Texas) plays an important role in locating homes.  This time of year folks are always looking for interesting and unique gifts.
