Dallas celebrities and influencers alike came out this past week to attend UrbanDaddy’s launch party for Le Melon, the latest flavor from Grey Goose, poolside at Hotel ZaZa. The party was part of a national 10-city event series “Fruit of Kings” to celebrate the new flavor by toasting modern day “kings” who are shaking things up.

The Dallas event toasted BET 106 and Park’s resident DJ, DJ ASAP, who hosted the event for the 200 partygoers. Guests in attendance were among the first to experience Le Melon and were treated to variety of signature cocktails including the Melon Mule - Grey Goose Le Melon, ginger beer and fresh lime; Melon Royal - Grey Goose Le Melon and lemon-lime soda; Fizz - Grey Goose Le Melon, Manzanilla Sherry, oregano  fresh lemon-lime soda; and the Southern Sip – Grey Goose Le Melon, fresh grapefruit juice, ginger beer, Bénédictine liqueur; melon ball, and sage as they enjoyed complimentary bites, live melon carving demonstrations, a photo booth and more. The inspiration for the collaboration comes from the rich and intriguing history of the Cavaillon melon, selected by Grey Goose creator Maitre de Chai (Cellar Master) Francois Thibault to craft the exceptional new expression – Grey Goose Le Melon. The prized essence of the ripe, juicy Cavaillon melons, from Provence, France was said to be relished and sought after by French Kings, nobility and artists. Legend has it that kings traded gold for exclusive access to this treasured fruit. The Dallas event is part of a ten-city national event series recognizing modern day kings of culture.
