Straight from the beginning, Dallas Arts District patrons have found it confusing that there is no box office. Want to buy a ticket for a production? You have to go online.

Well, not for long. According to an April 16 city briefing presented by assistant city manager Joey Zapata, a central box office and coffee shop is planned for the grassy spot between the Meyerson Symphony Center and the Winspear Opera House just off of Flora Street.

Besides a central box office and a place to grab a latte after a show, there'll be plenty of room to sit and hang out, or meet friends before seeing the Jaap Van Zweden do his thing at a Dallas Symphony Orchestra performance.
