Samuel Lynne Galleries Hosts Leonard Volk's "Everyday" Exhibit

Leonard Volk is a Dallas-based photographer who is inspired by the beauty that surrounds us everyday. His book Everyday contains essays and images selected from his work between 1950 to present. The subjects of Volk’s photographs showcase things usually screened from our attention — ranging from household items to intimate human interactions, each as compelling as the next.

Samuel Lynne Galleries presented the inaugural exhibition and book signing of Leonard Volk on Aug. 14. The exhibit features a selection of photographs from his published book Everyday. The event brought together many generations of people whom admired and celebrated Volk’s work. The exhibit will continue to run through Sept. 1.

The event benefited Dallas Children’s Theatre. Food and beverages were kindly donated by Nue Vodka, Abigail Adams Wine, Raytinis and Society Bakery. A special thanks also goes out to Art Official and Gold Crown Valet for their support and services.

Samuel Lynne Galleries is located at 1105 Dragon Street in Dallas' Design District.
