Whether you are looking for great shopping, dining or entertainment opportunities, the Uptown community in Dallas has it all.

Next month, a series event called Celebrate Uptown Dallas will be hosted in honor of everything that the area has to offer.

Celebrate Uptown Dallas will begin with a Kick Off Concert featuring The Spazmatics from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. April 12 at Cityplace/West Village. The cost to attend is $5, which will benefit the Katy Trail and McKinney Avenue Trolley.

The second event is special shopping day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 14 in Uptown. There will be a variety of specials at some of the retailers in addition to trunk shows, music, a car show and more.

Finally, a "Dine Around" evening is being hosted from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for $45 and includes "a prix fixe menu at three different restaurants."
