Uptown's West Village is hosting a St. Patrick's Day block party from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the south alley between Mi Cocina and the Magnolia Theater.

At the event, there will be a live performance by the musical group Soul Vacation. Also, food and drinks will be provided by places, such as Union Bear, Taco Diner and the Lemon Bar.

So once the parade on Greenville is over — if you plan on going to that beforehand — be sure to stop by West Village and "get your Irish on!"
