Individuals from Neiman Marcus and The Breakfast Club community volunteers group joined Educational First Steps for a day of service last month. The volunteers transformed the outdoor space at Little Rascals childcare center in West Dallas from a slab of concrete to an interactive outdoor learning center.

Volunteers nature-scaped the area by painting tires to use as flower pods, creating a sound/music station on the fence for children to experiment with sound, and hung an outdoor art station. They also created a garden space in the front of the center for children to plant flowers and grow their own fresh vegetables and fruit. Additionally, the volunteers put a fresh coat of paint on the inside of the center.
