“I can’t belive a church just came to my bar…”
–MULTIPLE PEOPLE EVERY YEAR

For 11 years, Church of the Incarnation Episcopal, located at 3966 McKinney Avenue (at Blackburn) has presented this lecture series, of sorts, known as Theology Live. The spectacle, to some, of seeing priests roaming about with pint of their favorite ale, has generated regular comments about a church coming to their favorite watering hole. And, in general, it is meant as a good thing.  Theology Live isn’t meant to be evengelical. It’s meant to be friendly. A simple chance to be a part of the community in which Incarnation resides. With no ostensible agenda more than sharing a dram with others while conversing, the event has grown each year and now is usually packed every Monday night, at least 15 minutes before it starts.
