Christine and Phil Crawshay

Photographer Phil Crawshay celebrated the opening of his new Crawshay Gallery on Dragon Street and the unveiling of “White Lines,” a dramatic photo of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.  Joining the opening were City + Sky jewelry collection, Fallon Studio, Equest, and approximately 180 guests on October 8. Capturing the wonders of nature and vast city skylines, attendees enjoyed the luxury large scale panoramic photography while helping to raise funds for Equest which provides Therapeutic Horsemanship to children, adults and veterans.

Phil Crawshay would like to specially thank event partners Allison and Courtney Edwards of City and Sky, artist Fallon Bartos, and Equest Interim President Lili Kellogg. Also in attendance among the crowd of philanthropists, trendsetters, and business people: Lisa Petty, Dan Pritchett, Piers Hurley, Sheridan Dietrich, Ekaterina Kouznetsova, Sally Francis, and Gus Hinojosa, among others.

Phil Crawshay, born in America and moved to England when he was a young boy, returned to the U.S in 2007 to follow his passion for photography.  Phil spends much of his time travelling to capture the incredible beauty of the U.S landscape.  He has spent years perfecting the art and science of large scale luxury photography and produces pieces in stunning quality and is one of few photographers in the world who has mastered its precision, patience, and technology.  From the wet streets of London to mystical canyons and gorges to the dramatic skylines of cities across the world, Crawshay has been able to capture the moment with clarity, intimacy, and appreciation. In the new Crawshay Gallery, guests will find a stunning display of Crawshay's work, which, in addition to large-format landscape and cityscapes , also includes abstracts and stills. All pieces are meticulously handcrafted from start to finish by Crawshay himself and can be custom-sized to suit any environment.
