Viva Las Dallas to Benefit BGCD Scholarship Fund

A Vegas-themed fundraiser is happening in Dallas next week, and the proceeds raised will be put toward scholarships for graduating high school seniors who will be furthering their educations.

Viva Las Dallas is being hosted by Young Professionals in Finance from 8 p.m. to midnight on May 19 at One McKinney Plaza, which will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dallas Scholarship Fund.

All of the attendees will get to enjoy "an open bar, Vegas-style live entertainment, and heavy appetizers," according to the event's website. People who would like to play poker or casino dice games can purchase a Gaming Ticket, which will give them table chips and an entry in the event's grand prize raffle.

In addition to the games and entertainment, all of the guests will be able to participate in a silent auction at the event.

To attend, you can purchase an Observer Ticket to the event, which does not include participation in the casino games, for $75. The Gaming Tickets cost $120. Cocktail attire is requested for all attendees. To find out more information about the event and purchase tickets, visit www.ypfdallasbgcd.org.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dallas have given more than $500,000 since 1977 to members who are graduating from high school. Students who will be attending a college, university, technical school or trade school will be considered for one of the scholarships.

Young Professionals in Finance is involved in a mentor program with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dallas to help high school students prepare for college and learn basic financial skills.
