Perle on Maple, the beloved restaurant tucked inside The Stoneleigh, is French-inspired from its French bistro dishes using local ingredients created by Executive Chef Wade Burch to its glass art installation, inspired by The Maison de Verre built by Peirre Charneau in the 1930’s, that serves as the gateway to enter the restaurant. Even the French spelling of “pearl” is used to signify this restaurant’s sophisticated-yet-casual international cuisine concept. So it is no surprise that Perle on Maple takes Bastille Day very seriously. Returning to the days of the French Empire, guests will feel like royalty sipping on champagne cocktails custom-made at the Sparkle Bar hosted by Moet Chandon Champagne. The one and only Marie Antoinette, known for the quote “let them eat cake,” will approvingly stand watch at the unlimited Bisou Bisou Cupcake Bar, occasionally tapping her foot to the tunes of a DJ spinning French vinyl. Bastille Day celebrations will be held on July 14, 7pm – 10pm. Tickets are $39 per person and may be purchased on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bastille-day-tickets-47516275459).
