The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its 11th annual Día de los Muertos Celebración over two weeks, Saturday, October 18 through Sunday, November 2, 2025 in Crown Hill Memorial Park and Mausoleum. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Día de los Muertos. The Día de los Muertos Celebración builds on this tradition

The Celebración is free and open to the public and held at Crown Hill Memorial Park and Mausoleum featuring the historic Art Deco style mausoleum, recognized as a City of Dallas historic landmark.

Alebrijes: Spirit Animals Art Exhibition opens Saturday, October 18 and runs through Sunday, November 2, 2025. The exhibit features a central art installation, Alebrijes: Spirit Animals, by Ricardo Alarcón.

In addition to artist Ricardo Alarcón, the entertainment that evening will be Carolina Imperial who recently won New Artist of the Year at the Catholic Music Awards held in Rome. She has also been selected to compete in Mexico Canta,  an initiative of the Government of Mexico, through the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Mexican Music Council. The evening will also highlight the design skills of Alfa de las Catrinas by Anel Anaya.
