TexProtects’ 10th Anniversary Celebration Featuring Ashley Judd and Honoring Senator Jane Nelson raised a record $438,615 to support advocacy, education and research to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Contributions, which totaled a 20 percent increase in revenue from last year’s event, will help TexProtects continue its work to protect Texas children through research, collaboration and advocacy for evidence-based solutions. The event drew 342 guests, including legislators Senator Nelson, The Honorable Florence Shapiro, Chairperson of TexProtects Advisory Board, Senator Royce West, Senator Donna Campbell and Senator Judith Zaffirini and more.
