2401 Douglas in Oak Lawn. One of the featured homes for the 2015 Spring Modern Home Tour.

The 2015 Spring Modern Home Tour, presented by moderndallas.net, will open four modern homes on June 20 for a self-guided driving tour from 11am to 5pm. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Dallas Architecture Forum. These homes represent the finest residential architecture in the Dallas area, and they demonstrate that excellence in design is not limited by size or dollars.

Of particular interest this year is 5411 Melrose Avenue, a just-completed townhouse, open for the first time, with stunning features that include Italian Cabinetry by Valcucine, museum-finished walls, and a beautiful courtyard, and 10720 Meadowcliff Lane which is a complete transformation of a 1980’s contemporary into a modern design that features a loft lifestyle and a magnificent 25-foot ravine.

This year’s tour showcases homes in the Oak Lawn, Knox-Henderson, Uptown East and Northeast Dallas areas.
