Dallas-based co-ed independent school The Compass School of Texas will host its next Fireside Chat on Wednesday, October 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Center for BrainHealth Auditorium. This engaging evening will bring together former Navy SEAL Kevin Gatley, Professor Carina Venter, and Compass Co-Founder Frances Mitchell for a powerful conversation on the critical connection between resilience, brain health, and gut health—topics central to the Compass curriculum and mission. The evening will conclude with remarks from Compass Head of School, Shelly Sender.

Now in its third year, the Compass Fireside Chat Series brings thought leaders, innovators, and community changemakers to Dallas for thought-provoking discussions on education, leadership, wellness, and resilience. Past speakers have included Ross Perot Jr., Rob Kaplan, Admiral Patrick Walsh, Dr. Lori Cook, and other distinguished experts.

Each Compass School of Texas Fireside Chat event is open to the public and designed to extend the learning experience by providing expert knowledge on core values instilled in Compass students- Community, Family, Leadership, Purpose, and Resilience. Previous panels focused on brain development through nature and science, reading and lifelong learning, anxiety and connection, and navigating leadership with notable speakers.

The event will take place in the Center for BrainHealth Auditorium, located at 2200 West Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75235.  Guests can RSVP here.
