The MetroTex Association of REALTORS® today released Colleyville homes sales figures for the month of May. MetroTex President Steve Habgood announced Colleyville’s near-record volume of sales.

“The market in Colleyville on is extremely active,” said Habgood. “While overall the number of available homes is low on any given day, homes that do appear on market tend to sell very quickly. There were 42 sold homes and 33 pending sales in Colleyville last month.“

“We definitely recommend consumers develop a good relationship with their REALTOR® to help them navigate such an active market like Colleyville is experiencing,” said Habgood.

Other highlights include of the MetroTex report include:

• The average sales price in Colleyville is $536,930, a decrease of 6%.
• Average sales price is 98% of list price when listed with a REALTOR®
• The number of available homes on the market in May 2015 was 124, compared to 120 in May 2014.
• The average price per square foot in Colleyville decreased from $152 in May 2014 to $147 in May 2015. 

“We predict Colleyville will continue to be part of one of the most active markets in the country,” said Habgood. “In Colleyville, homes listed with REALTORS® are selling in 45 days on average.
