Can you feel the love tonight? It’s coming from Jewish Community Center of Dallas’ Performing Arts Space (JPAS) as the organization presents two casts of Disney’s The Lion King JR. during six shows this spring. The popular musical brings to life the residents of the African savanna with Simba, Mufasa, and an unforgettable cast of characters traveling from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale taking place March 26 through April 5.

The Lion King JR. is not only a beloved story illustrating the ‘circle of life,’” said Alise Robinson, director of The J Performing Arts Space (JPAS). “It’s also a way for JPAS to teach students to be their best selves by building self-confidence and a love of the arts in young actors in a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment.”

The Lion King JR will be performed on Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m.; Sunday, March 29 at 2 and 6 p.m..; Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 5 at 2 and 6 p.m. All performances will take place in Zale Auditorium at the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center, 7900 Northaven Road in Dallas. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children and seniors and can be purchased online. Prices will increase at the door.
