In November 2017, Café Momentum partnered with legendary baseball Hall of Famer and Texas Rangers radio announcer Eric Nadel to create a series of unique family-style dinner events fusing gourmet meals with acoustic performances by top artists. ‘Eric Nadel’s Sunday Supper Concert Series’ returns for the new year on Sunday, January 28, with a performance by recording artist Griffin House.

Tickets for the family-style meal, which include wine, beer, and champagne, start at $85 per person and can be purchased online. The dinners begin at 6 p.m. and will be held at Café Momentum, 1510 Pacific Ave. in Dallas.

"Something magical happened at our first Sunday Supper with Daphne Willis,“ said Café Momentum’s Founder, CEO and Executive Chef Chad Houser. “The combination of food and music created a very special camaraderie in the room. We are grateful to Eric to team with us to bring that magic to Café Momentum every month. "

The family-style menu for each supper will include dishes that hold special meaning to the featured musician and Eric as interpreted through Chad's cooking style and technique. Menu items for the January 28 event will encompass Griffin’s eclectic tastes from childhood favorites like Montgomery Inn Ribs and Fried Chicken to current favorites like green smoothies and crème brûlée.

"Griffin is a wonderful songwriter, whose work I have enjoyed for years...he is honest, authentic and vulnerable. I had never seen him perform live until last January, when I was able to experience the wonderful connection he makes with his audience,” said Nadel. “I am looking forward to enjoying that again in his show at the intimate Cafe Momentum."

Recording and performing for over a decade, Griffin House has toured with Ron Sexsmith, Patti Scialfa, Josh Ritter, John Mellencamp, Mat Kearney, and The Cranberries. He received early critical acclaim on the CBS Sunday Morning, and his songs have since been featured in countless films and television shows such as One Tree Hill, Army Wives, and Brothers and Sisters. He has also appeared on Late Night with Craig Ferguson. Most recently, CNN Newsroom invited House to perform “Paris Calling,” from So On and So Forth, live on the air, and the song has been picked up by radio prior to being serviced. House has released 10 albums and continues to headline his own national tours.

Additional “Eric Nadel’s Sunday Supper Concert Series” are scheduled for February 25, March 25, April 22, May 27, June 17, July 22, August 19 and September 23. Dates for October and November will be announced later in the year, and artists for each supper will be announced closer to the event.
