Back by popular demand, Dog Yoga will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Group Fitness Studio at the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center, 7900 Northaven Road in Dallas. Inspired by the book Doga: Yoga for Dogs and led by professional yoga instructor Debbi Levy, Dog Yoga is an opportunity for humans to interact with their canine companions while tapping into the animal’s natural yoga tendencies including the ability to “be in the moment” and, of course, inherent flexibility.

All dogs attending the event must be non-aggressive, well socialized and on a leash. Dog owners must show proof of the animal’s current Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations. In order to ensure maximum connection between human and pet there's a one-dog, per-person limit.

Dog Yoga is free to attend, however, RSVP to Terri Arends at 214-239-7137 or tarends@jccdallas.org is required to ensure a space. Yoga mats and towels will be provided.
