On Saturday, September 26, ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship will transform its North Texas homestead into a sparkling scene for dinner, dancing and charitable giving during the organization’s 8th Annual Gala at the ‘Gait, presented by Stereo East Home Theater. More than 700 people sporting their finest Western attire are expected to attend the fundraiser featuring a host of local restaurants, an extensive auction and dancing to the tunes of up-and-comer Jenna Paulette.

“It’s amazing to watch ManeGait’s High Five covered arena turn into an elegant party space,” said Dawnda Daniel, Chair of the 2015 Gala at the ‘Gait. “This event has just grown and grown to become something the community anticipates each year, and we are so thankful for the supportive volunteers and donors who make it possible, especially our returning presenting sponsor Stereo East Home Theater.”

“The work being done at ManeGait to help individuals with disabilities is both effective and heart-warming,” said Gary Montagna, CEO of Frisco-based Stereo East Home Theater. “The Stereo East family is proud to have a part to play in this fundraiser and the organization’s mission.”

The night’s entertainment begins with guests being greeted upon arrival by ManeGait’s therapy horses. Once inside the arena party space, attendees can sample food from 18 restaurants including III Forks, Harvest, Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen, Whiskey Cake, Mexican Sugar and Velvet Taco. There’s also an extensive auction filled with everything from western-themed clothing to exotic vacations. The proceeds from ticket sales, the auction and sponsorships provide approximately 40 percent of ManeGait’s operating budget each year. These monies allow the organization to support riders from across North Texas including those in Dallas and Collin County.

Gala at the ‘Gait will be held on Saturday, September 26 from 6 to 11 p.m. at ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship, 3160 N. Custer in McKinney. Individual tickets are $100 each. Sponsorships start at $2,500. For information, visit www.manegait.org or call Tricia Nelson at (469) 422-6734.
