We sometimes dig around on the web to see things that might fit our DROP vision.  This is a beautiful poem that I ran across and just wanted to share.  We should really appreciate every DROP of rain that we get, especially in Texas.

A Little Drop of Rain by Rusty Daily

Who me? What am I?
Why, I'm A Little Drop of Rain
I am wanted and prayed for
But sometimes I can cause pain

I can be soft or harsh
Frozen, pure and pristine
I can mount forces stronger
Than you have ever seen

I have good moods and bad
Depends upon my day
I can make you want to hide
Or simply go out and play

I'm
A Little Drop of Rain

Look closer at me and wonder
How can such a little drop
Help you go on living
Or bring you to a stop

I can make my presence known
With such beautiful grace
The sky is where I draw
An upside-down smiley face

My reflection is arched on high
Making colors all aglow
Refracted, painted at heavens door
As a beautiful bright rainbow

And I can see from where I sit
The story that's been told
Well, I'll be, there it is
A gleaming pot of gold

I fall on mountain peaks
And tumble down their side
I form trickles, washes, torrents
And rivers gushing wide

I eat away at boundaries
And etch my will in stone
My eonic power, unstoppable
Strength you've never known

I am playful to a fault
When I puddle in a street
I provide a stomping ground
For kids with happy feet

I bring them lots of laughter
With wet and muddy stain
They take me home with them
But wash me down the drain

I also have a romantic side
Some think it a silly sight
I like to fall on lovers
Out on a summer night

Pretty silly, riduculous
As they laugh, look up at me
But being in love allows you
To be as dumb as you can be

Pretty good so far for
A Little Drop of Rain

I have chilling moments
Which make me good and bad
I can fall as a crystal flake
And make you happy and sad

In this form I can please you
Torture and terrify
I am snowmen, angels and forts
I can make you laugh and cry

I am fun games to play
Or a white hazardous stain
I am slick and deceiving
As a Crystal Drop of Rain

I fall almost everywhere
More or less, I don't care
Except when I fall at sea
No one sees me there

I fall and then evaporate
Lost like grains of sand
But me and mine rise up and storm
And head for nearest land

One of my more powerful times
Is spent with my old friend
The ever circling, forceful
Cyclonic master....Wind

We two are not to be tested
No forces on earth are greater
Wind and I will break you down
If not sooner, then later

Destruction imminent, evacuate
Leave before we arrive
Run, get out of our way
I may not leave you alive

But I'm just
A Little Drop of Rain

For one so destructive you wonder
Why do people pray for me
If I stay gone for awhile
I'm invited back on bended knee

Oh God! , I wish it would rain
The grounds cracking, crops dying
Rationing, Lakes receding
Distant thunder? Is it lying?

Im a pretty powerful guy
This Little Drop of Rain
I cause so much pleasure
And Oh, so much pain

Harsh as I am at times
I like my gentle way
I like to make flowers bloom
And places for kids to play

I like rivers and lakes to swell
Right up to the brim
I like to make all things grow
And nurture life and limb

I like rainbows and gentle snow
And soft far away thunder
I like to wash the earth real clean
In all its glorious wonder

Please think about me sometime
In lowland, city and farm
No matter what you think of me
I never meant to harm

After all
I'm just
A Little Drop of Rain
