With classic antique furnishings, beautiful oak floors and neutral tones from floor to ceiling, the Club Monaco shop certainly mimics the upscale vibe of its newest Dallas location in the West Village area.

The clothing store, which opened at the end of June, replaced a previous Club Monaco inside of NorthPark Center.

After its lease ended in NorthPark a few years ago, the company searched for a new, free-standing location with the freedom to personalize.  Club Monaco wanted to expand on its “shop-in-shop" concept, said Ann Watson, Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

The new women’s only CM in the West Village boasts a few things you won’t find inside of its other current Dallas location-the Galleria.

Part of its “shop-in-shop” idea, the “Beach Boutique” is filled with light, airy, summery attire as well as one-of-a-kind bags imported from souks in Marrakech.  You’ll also find a unique assortment of vintage items, hand-picked by Selima Salaun, a curator for Club Monaco.  An array of classic pieces, from a rare 1970s Chanel handbag to delicate silk scarves are on display and available for purchase.

Another section of the shop is replete with luxurious Italian cashmere, perfect for those summer days spent in overly air-conditioned offices.  Expect to find even more soft cashmere options in the fall, as the store will stock more of the fabric when the temperatures cool down, said Watson.

Club Monaco hopes the new West Village location and varied merchandise will add an eclectic, urban, and feminine touch to Dallas’ vibrant fashion community.  “Even though we are a big global company, we like to listen to our customers and encourage them to be unique in their own city,” she said.
