Former Dallas Mavericks' forward Mark Aguirre is giving residents of Uptown another reason to cheer and this one has nothing to do with the Mavericks beating the Heat. Instead, Aguirre, who is the new owner of Dimples Cupcakes, has reopened the Frisco location and is planning on reopening the stories in Uptown, Plano and Downtown Dallas.

Aguirre has renamed the company as Dimples Cupcakes Factory and has already improved its reputation by providing great recipes and outstanding customer service. There is no timetable yet as to when the Uptown store will reopen but check back here for updates.
